Identification: 30 cm . red ; The second green wings with yellow on the pleats .
Voice : Sound for fly often excluded , distinctive , loud , nasal , braying shaking .

Habit : Usually in pairs , sometimes in large groups of up to 10 birds in trees. Noisy and conspicuous when flying but less at mealtime . Approachable . Generally located in the canopy , sometimes under the canopy . Eat in flowering trees and fruit trees may also . Active , contentious and play .

Global Distribution : Endemic in North Maluku .
Local Distribution : Three subtypes : 1 . ( Morotaianus ) Morotai , Rau . 2 . ( Garrulous) Halmahera , Widi , Ternate . 3 . ( Flavopalliatus ) Kasiruta , Bacan , Obi , Obilatu . Locally decreased due to trapped . Inhabits primary and secondary forests are high , selectively logged forest and forest edge . From sea level to an altitude of 1040 m ( Halmahera ) , 1300 + m ( Bacan ) and 730 + m ( Obi ) .

Threats : Arrest for tradeĀ ( Read: burung walet )
Other Information: L. g . flavopalliatus ( Bacan , Obi ) : yellow spots on the mantle . L. g . morotaianus ( Morotai ) : yellow spots on the coat does not develop .
